Is it better to buy stocks and options around 10 or after 1 pm central time to avoid the market rush/high at 9 and 12?

I have just got an options trader job at a prop trading firm. But I knew nothing about options/trading/finance. The firms said they’ll be officially training us once we start. But in the meantime, what are some books/resources that you would recommend to start learning first?

To those using Prosystemsfx, have you had issues with not being able to insert rows or indent text in Excel? I’m sure there’s more but those two not working really bugs me
