You can cruise on celebrity and book what’s called Retreat, which has exclusive Retreat only restaurant, lounge and you’ll have a Butler. The lounge also has concierges that help with anything from getting an issue resolved to ensuring you get priority everything - reserved sections at shows, on and on.
Ages range from 30s on up
My relative has done the ritz yacht. It was her and 3 other people. The are in their late sixties. She loved it and said it was mostly her age group.
Have you considered Virgin? It is not true luxury but the right demographic. Maybe an upgraded room…
Well the person I know did a virgin cruise that started on Barcelona was 22 at the time. It was a graduation gift but they enjoyed it. They are far from swingers 😂😂😂
Viking Cruises is quality and goes to interesting places (Danube, Greek islands). I’ve been eyeing the explorer ones - the Antarctica one is on my bucket list! My aunt has been on a few and has really enjoyed attention to detail.
To me, if you want luxury and beach, just go to a ritz in xyz Caribbean island. Cruises tend to skew older (unless you do a party one, but that’s prolly not the luxury vibe you’re going for)
Viking is the Honda Accord of cruising. Functional at a price point but definitely not luxury.
You will need to define what you are looking for. Traveled with Regent and on the newer ships it’s quite luxurious. However it does skew older. If you are looking for non crowded fine dining it can work for you. A great menu of included and paid shore excursions. Sometimes with the olde skew you do get folks on an active tour who should not be there. Have traveled with them over the years and never really felt the demographic as an issue.
The nicer the cruise the older it will skew for sure. But I'd say Explora or Seabourn are your best options from the more luxury lines.
Seaborn Cruises.
