Scuba or snorkel at John pennekamp state park in key largo - it's the only living reef in North America and beyond amazing. When I was there you could stand on the boat and see the coral in detail 40ft down the water is so clear.
Yes - planning to do keys too
You could also check out Fort Lauderdale if you want a slightly more chill big city vibe. Be prepared, Miami traffic is crazy.
Fort Lauderdale is to Miami as Santa Monica is to Los Angeles if that is helpful at all!
Why you going for so many days?? Lol. Miami doesn’t need 7 full days unless you’re planning to head to other parts of FL like Orlando or key west.
I also highly recommend key largo! Great diving there. I am not a fan of Miami. I was there for less than 24 hours and hated it and went to key largo instead lol
Pro
Wynwood has good art galleries, bars, and restaurants. I like the Perez Museum a lot too. South beach is a must since you’re a tourist lol there are some nice rooftop bars in brickell like Sugar, so those are nice too.
Boating, beach, watersports, bike riding, plenty of eating and drinking (can do these things in both Miami and Keys)

I can’t tell if you’re 24 or 42, age matters in recommendations
