I had an interview with Cognizant and then got an email from HR to fill in CIS form and also along with to send all the documents. After i send all those details i got an email saying the position went on hold and to wait until they revert.
Any idea that how much time it would take for the position to be released? They did not respond when i asked the same question.

If everything went great at the interview, I think I would reach out before the end of day Thursday with some times you are available next week for a working interview if the position is still available. If you don't hear back by the end of day Friday, I'd probably take the weekend to regroup and get back out there applying. Don't let desperation lead your job hunt, make sure it's the right fit for you, too!
When I used to be a waiter, I would chase every lead I got it made me seem eager and employable, I would probably boil it down to how you got along… was he/she enthusiastic about you and interested in you or were they sort of indifferent. Based on that you should either chase up or leave it
Definitely call and get in touch and find out what's up. It can never hurt to show some enthusiasm. And it's possible not hearing doesn't mean anything, things may have gotten busy and the manager just forgot to get in touch. That happens!
Definitely reach out! Managers get so busy and sometimes things get sidelined. The squeaky wheel gets the grease!
