Okay — diets & weight loss. What have you seen that actually works? I exercise almost daily but realize my portions and food intake aren’t perfect. I do not want to track cals or macros as that caused me to have an eating disorder. I have an OCD personality.

So today was my first day on a stimulant (diagnosed as an adult), and everyone says its suppose to feel like *boom* magic, or normal (?) , I guess. Knowing that is figurative, what should I actually be expecting? I feel mostly the same, I think, though I came in and actually did started my work today. But I mean, somedays I do that...I just don't want to psyche myself out if I'm expecting too much. Or pscyhe myself in if I actually might not be experiencing what I should.

Just restarted stimulants and already I'm dealing with twitches again. Does anyone else get these? No type of pain or anything just every once and a while my body will twitch strongly. Afterward I feel normal, but it's a bit annoying, and I can't control it at all which is a little disconcerting. Don't remember this from when I took stimulants as a kid, but it's been a while.

Okay to renege on a lateral offer that I already accepted (prior to Covid-19 outbreak)? Anxiety is high moving in a time like this and now would rather stay put.

I’ve had a really tense, emotionally exhausting week. Things wrapped up yesterday and now my body feels so strung out and exhausted. Any tips for coming down from being so strung out without relying on toxic habits and just shutting down/procrastinating? (My brain is saying “go for a run” and my body is getting stuck picking at my eyebrows for two hours) I feel like my central nervous system is on a roller coaster.

I’ve suffered from workaholism for a long time. Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. It’s this terrible feeling of like anguish/unease in my gut, but I don’t have anything I’m worried about- it’s like my body wants to find something to worry about.

When did you tell work about your pregnancy?

I’m a currently going through a first-time pregnancy while single and working full-time for a boutique IBank. Between the challenges of the pregnancy (and the persistent morning sickness well into 2nd trimester) and the demands of my in-person job, I’ve got my hands full. I get that money is tight. But if you deny all diagnostic tests, please don’t get mad at me when we can’t figure out what’s wrong. Those tests are there for a reason.

Does anyone have any helpful tips for brain fog? I’ve been working in full time in special education for several years while finishing my bachelors degree in psychology with a concentration in behavior. Originally, I was going to get my certification/license in sped, but now with the this brain fog I’m nervous about pursuing this.. any suggestions or tips?

I keep forgetting to ask about this but I noticed ever since my hysterectomy years ago I have arthritis (I think) in my fingers. Basically I can’t open things that I easily could before like jars, caps, and even ziploc bags. Has anyone else experienced this? I am 52 I have been feeling so tired and when I was in my 40’s. I had a lot more energy. Now I am so tired after work - but I have 4 girls ages, 16-15-13-9. I am going through menopause and my Osteoarthritis hurts somedays and that doesn’t work. Any advice how to keep up with my four girls while feeling crummy?!?

I’ve never been pregnant but I can say that menopause cravings are REAL! Anyone else feel the urge to keep eating all the time?!?

My belly keeps getting flabbier during menopause. Mainly uncomfortable bloating. Has anyone found any foods or supplements that have helped??

Hi ladies, I'm in my mid 40s and I think I'm entering peri. I currently have a Mirena but I should replace it again soon, but one more will put me into my 50s(!!) and I was wondering if anyone here knows that they're in peri or menopause without having periods. Is there blood work or something to check? I definitely do not want to have another child accidentally. I've got 5 more years until my youngest is in college and don't want to start over again.
