Management actually gave us input on what music gets played in the store and even let us decide what beverages and snacks would be stocked in the breakroom. All of this is small, but it really helps make you feel like you're part of a family and that your opinion matters. Tbh, this feels better than a raise. Anyone with me?

Anyone hiring broadcast / content producers in NYC? (Freelance and/or FT). It’s been a bit dry, but seems like things are picking up.

Does anyone else struggle with being a freelancer while also being a natural leader? I always feel in freelance roles that they would prefer I just shut up (even though my ideas have been praised and implemented plenty), esp within my own dept. In a full-time role, taking charge is expected, but I'm feeling like I should just sit back and take orders vs trying to be proactive or having thoughts in a freelance role.
