What do folks think of DDOG?
Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

I think it’s fine.
I mean. What? What social settings are you in that people are writing out their names??
Depends on how you use it. I think it’s a fine identifier on things like business cards or an email signature. But I don’t sign off with it elsewhere.
I think the only time I've seen anyone in my firm add "esq." to something is when cc'ing other lawyers on demand letters, which I'm guessing is to signal to the recipient that those being copied are lawyers. I haven't seen any formal pleadings signed that way since your bar number indicates you're an attorney. Regardless, I practice education law and am regularly having to address individuals with doctorates in education as "Dr. [whoever]" (and being corrected if I miss it the first time) so, no, we are def not the only profession with a need to project importance.
I’ve never seen lawyers I respect do that

It’s a useful identifier… to flag the desperate
My office has it as part of the standard email signature that I'm too lazy to change 🤷
Only our cover letters for paper mailings/filings have esq. I only use it at all when I want to signal authority and/or (fake) status, such as a letter to the school board, written state legislative testimony, letters of recommendation. Maybe also once in a complaint letter to my prior landlord. That bar card was expensive to obtain, I’m getting every cent out of it.
