What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? I have a third round interview this Thursday, but after I sent my availability, I booked a flight for work that is causing a problem. The interview ended up scheduled for 3:30-4:15, and I'm supposed to be on a 5pm flight out of LGA. Is there a reliably quiet place at LGA to do the interview (I don't have lounge access)? Would it be a bad idea to say my availability changed and I can't do that time slot anymore? Or should I cancel / rebook my flight to later at night?
