FDD 🐠 I will be promoted to audit SM in October, however looking to transfer to the FDD practice. Based on discussions with partners in the practice, I would be brought in as an experienced manager with opportunity to promote to senior manager in FDD next year. Did I lose my chances at BCG north America by giving a preference for middle east?

Recently applied to consultant at BCG with Canada offices as first and second preference and middle east as third (with a 15% interest).

Recently got an interview invite for middle east but nothing for Canada. I'd love to work for BCG but I'd love to be able to do so in Canada. Where do I go from here? Can I request HR to change office or would that make it seem like I'm not interested?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Leaving for a series C unicorn company with less than 1 YOE. Should I stay in consulting? The TC is 15% lower but the hours are 9-5 and ex MBB people with 3 YOE exit to the same position but one level above me.
