Bain & Company I received an offer to join Bain & Company for SF office but due to family reasons, I will have to stay in the South Bay. Given Bain’s local staffing model, it will be challenging for me to commute to SF and back. Is it possible to be transferred to the palo alto office/is that office fully functioning or does it mainly serve as a hub for partners and research?
Bain & Company My 13 YO is taking Career and Tech. She is dead set on diving for Michigan. What are her chances of getting hired from MBB with a degree from UM? Or would she need her MBA first? Is a Michigan degree good enough to get you into a top MBA program?

McKinsey & Company Does level and/or office matter for referrals at McKinsey & Company? A friend is willing to refer at the Associate level in my target office though I did not get any traction w/ the referral last year. I'm a Veteran so I also recognize there may be a resume translation issue despite the prior version getting me interviews with BCG and Bain. I have updated the resume since - though still wondering if there's anything else I can do to strengthen my case. Thank you in advance for any advice.

I’d probably go with McK, but it’s a hard choice between the two. I’d likely base it off if 5 year TC projections and need a bit more data to determine which is better.
I am in EMEA and would map to a McK AP or BCG P. Pay is insanely better for both, though with McK, it’s mainly their firm performance bonus, which was a 80-90% multiplier on TC last year.
