Men, where do you buy your suits?

I finally have to wear these things regularly again now that the pandemic is over over.

I'd go to plain old Men's Wearhouse. The pricing's fine and for a lawyer you don't need anything fancy, just something durable in a traditional color and fabric so you can wear it regularly. And it has to be tailored correctly and regularly pressed to you're not wrinkled. You could go high end and stylish if you're looking to make a bold fashion statement, but unless you're a big-firm senior partner of flashy PI lawyer, just get something serviceable.

My SO adds very little to our relationship. She has a dead end job. I cook. I work. I oversee finances. I plan trips. She doesn’t have a voice in the relationship. I’ve asked her to give her perspective but she always defaults to mine bc she thinks I’m smarter/worldly. She feels intimated by me and my social circle. Lately, I’ve found myself thinking for her. Anticipating her wants and needs and then adjusting my behavior to meet them. Which she appreciates but it’s frustrating 29M 27F

I thought I would ask this here too because some of you may spend a lot of time at the Daley center and I’m dying to know the answer to this pressing concern.

The tree at the NW corner of Dearborn and Washington at Daley Center. WHY is it always covered with thousands of birds. I could walk across the loop and not see a single bird but when I get to DCP, every day, rain or shine or heat or cold, thousands of birds. What is up with this tree? Why is it special?

What is the benefit of working at the Cook County State's Attorneys Office other than the rapid trial experience one gains? I was a non traditional student - I do have a job lined up in private practice. Im not particularly fond of the practice area but its decent paying for entry level. I attended a networking event and met so many State's attorneys who seemed to enjoy the work bc of the experience they were gaining.

Sort of feel its a job more geared to folks who never worked in law before.
