I need some advice. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration with 20 plus years working in different Healthcare roles. I am working as a PBM Claim Specialist. HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? Base salary: 120k

Sign-on bonus:10k

Compliance question here, I have always thought of the SALT deduction on the fed return as a perm item & have treated as such in such sch M-3. I see that some people put it as a temp on sch M-3. What is the justification for treating it as a temp on the M-3. You don’t set up a deferred on the def RF for the state tax deduct & it is also a rate impacting item (I know that some temps can be rate impacting). But this all leaves me to side with perm. Does anyone know the logic behind temp treatment?

What is the benefit of working at the Cook County State's Attorneys Office other than the rapid trial experience one gains? I was a non traditional student - I do have a job lined up in private practice. Im not particularly fond of the practice area but its decent paying for entry level. I attended a networking event and met so many State's attorneys who seemed to enjoy the work bc of the experience they were gaining.

Sort of feel its a job more geared to folks who never worked in law before.
