I'm honestly not a big fan of modern versions of The Grinch. I love the animated version that NBC put on way back in the sixties, and I always try to catch that every year. They say that sold a lot of color TVs, word got around that it looked crazy in color so people bought sets to catch it the next year. If it was up to me there would be a moratorium on Grinch portrayals. Perhaps I've entered a mobius strip of Grinchdom, being a Grinch about the Grinch.

I’ve seen many Grinch like adverts but I feel they fall short of the character and Dr Seuss feel.
That said the one I think that does actually do this is W+K McDonalds. From advert to POS to the meals and giveaway. I was super impressed when we got a takeaway recently and the little attention to detail across the store. Even the drive through window hours and instructions had been Grinchified. Superb.

Nick darnell is all over my TikTok I’m thoroughly entertained. Jim Carey is my favorite grinch and the blueprint but I think Nick is speaking to the new generation (gen z)
