Disagree, the Netflix stuff would not win at Cannes. The “everything at your fingertips” idea is just commonplace these days. Everything is at your fingertips in 2018. What you have is an insight, not an idea. If you love that work, you need to push it forward. It doesn’t really make sense why the iconography is on your fingertips. Need to bring it to life beyond that. Not saying this is the right idea, but something like seeing someone fingerprints having been taken at a police station, and in their fingerprints you see characters from orange is the new black, then it starts to make sense and tie it the content on Netflix. When I think of Netflix, I don’t think of Seinfeld or Star Wars.

Just came here to say your Netflix print ads would win at Cannes if they were real. Fuck those are nice. Put that first!

AD1 Thanks!

Great suggestion ACD1, if you can execute it closer to Netflix programming such as Orange is the new black or Stranger Things, I think it'll make the campaign much stronger... even though I think it is awesome as is. This is a great problem to have. Great job and good luck!

@ACD1: Thanks for your reccos on updating the Netflix ads. I made these 4-5 years ago—before Netflix started making their own programming. I'll try updating it with characters more iconic to Netflix's current programming. Really appreciate the feedback back!

Netflix finger tips should be higher up, so should inspired by nature and Buddhist monks. Your spec work is really good, most people won’t know its spec work unless you tell them, which is a good thing. I would keep your producer work towArds the end. Unfortunately, it’s not very conceptual

Overall, solid site man.

Agree about Inspired by Nature. Would add: cut the description down, it gives away the idea too soon and takes away the “ohh” moment that you want people to feel when they look at those. Would also flip the order of the prints so the 2nd and 3rd flowers are first. They’re visually a little quicker.

@lantic is a cool name and a fine idea, but “challenge your perspective” feels super similar to Wieden’s amazing “Question Your Answers” without the brilliant tagline. I’d consider picking a lesser-known publication and finding a punchier line to execute the same idea. Also, just to note - it’s tough to execute the two perspectives thing because so many brands have done it brilliantly. The Guardian, the Atlantic, Samaritans, etc.

Feels weird to have only one thing in your “Play” section. Id put that in your main section to clean up your navigation, unless you have more great Play ideas. Also, would cut down the description to Somewhere a lot. Feels really long.

Nice work! Some great stuff in there.

@CW 1: thanks for the order suggestion. I always feel that other folks will see the the flaws I see and know it's spec.

@FFCC1: Thanks for all the reccos!

I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? I’m pretty good at Salesforce and have thought about a SFDC admin type role, but that’s all I’ve thought of so far.

Lately, I've been hearing a lot from my peers about how sales isn't a real profession.
I work at a tech startup and it mostly comprises developers. They can't stop emphasizing their importance in the food chain and I can't figure if I'm too humble or they're too arrogant.
This yapping comes from people I've known since college. I have successfully blocked all such negativity but wanted to know if anyone here has faced such scenarios.
P.S: I've already accepted an offer above my expectations
