I just gentle and they were organized, fast and polite.
What was the other company? (Want to know who to steer clear of)
Rising Star
Gentle is just SO expensive; for me 2x just isn’t worth the quality unless work is covering the cost.
Have you tried Mozart or M&M? I’ve heard good things for both (haven’t used firsthand but looking into a move myself at the moment).
Agree, that’s what I’m struggling with. How can they charge 2x in what should be a relatively commoditized market? Makes me think I’m missing something about one of the two.
Haven’t heard of Mozart or M&M, will take a look. Thanks for the tip!
I've used Stairhopper for three moves (two of which were interstate) and they've been great every time. Highly recommend.
Gentle Giant is by far the best moving company I’ve used. And they are worth it if you have furniture etc you care about and want to make sure isn’t damaged. I don’t have museum quality furniture but I have had something or multiple somethings damaged w every other moving company I’ve used. Not with Gentle Giant. They cost more because they put more people on each job and they take their time (within reason) to move your belongings w care.
