I have been given a verbal offer of 145k base for a Sr. Associate role as Data Analytics Lead. The offer doesn’t come with any kind of bonuses or stocks.
I have a Masters and 5+ years of exp and my current comp is 115.5k + approx 5k bonus + ~20k in stocks (yearly refreshes) which makes my total current comp to 140k.
Is it worth taking the offer for increase in just the base?
What are my chances of negotiating into a VP level role with at-least 155k?

Northern Liberties, Fishtown, Olde Kensington or Old City. All walkable with tons of great restaurants and bars. Lots of housing options and parking isn't as bad as everyone says. I live in NoLibs for reference.
Northern liberties is very dog, friendly and liberty. Lands Park is great and there’s a separate dog park right across the street.
I live in Bella Vista and love it.
Only thing for your list is it is not walkable to a nature trail.
We will have car(s), so decent parking is preferred. Are there any good big apartment complexes, or not worth considering? Also, fyi I'm from the East Coast originally. We both have a couple friends in the city
If you have a car, I'd say brewerytown.
Logan square
I didn’t say quickly 😂
Don’t do point breeze. You’ll never feel fully comfortable, will encounter antagonists and you’ll never shake the feeling of “am I gonna get jumped tonight?”… it’s gentrifying but it’s not there yet and still has a lot of quality of life issues. Fishtown and northern liberties are fully gentrified, transplant centric and very millennial-driven in the ammenities and quality of life. Parking is tough depending on where you live. Fairmount is boring in my opinion. Another good idea could be Park Towne Place (big apartment complex right off of the Art Museum) which is safe, vibrant and has a lot of ease of access to various sorts of things to do and easy transit options. I’d avoid west Philly as a transplant because it is a bit isolated and its of “I just graduated college and have opinions on everything”-vibe.
Passyunk Ave is a home run option, anything in south Philly on the east side of broad, north of Snyder is great. A few bad pockets here and there but for the most part great.
Avoid north and northeast Philly.
Second this. Fishtown/Olde Kensington would be my first choice. Has everything you’re looking for and it’s all walkable. Plus it’s an extremely social neighborhood. Rittenhouse is also a great spot, but street parking is tough and monthly parking is a fortune. Park Towne might be worth considering with your wishlist too. It’s a little more removed from the true downtown area but it has its own dog park, an outdoor pool, is right by the entrance to 76. It’s basically its own community. I don’t spend much time in South Philly (around Passyunk) but everyone I know who lives there loves it.
Lived in Northern Liberties/Fishtown, Old City, and fairmount. All felt safe, lively, and had dog parks
Grad hospital. Then fairmount. It all depends on where you are working. If neither of you have to commute to center city then fishtown (stay away from Kensington -not truly there yet) may also be a good option.
Welcome to Philly! Hope you and your girlfriend prosper here.
Fairmount
Bella Vista is a sleeper hit out of your list - the most central and there are still decent deals to be had. I think you would also be happy in Fairmount based on what you described but parking can be tough depending on your timing. I personally think spruce hill is too far out if you're moving to Philadelphia to be in Philadelphia
What is the opinion on Grays Ferry? Is it a safe location?
No it’s not.
Daughter has lived in Grad Hospital for 3 years now. Safe, walkable to a lot of places, good rent. Lots of people with dogs & little kids.
WRT Point Breeze, things get sketchier as you cross Washington, but neighborhood improvements continue to move south. In the time she’s been there the whole area in her neighborhood up to Washington and just across has been redeveloped.
We've seen a few great looking places on the edge of spruce Hill - think 46th St and walnut. Thoughts on that area?
I already provided an overview of it in my earlier comments
Brewerytown and Fairmount are winners. Good transit in and out of downtown, close to grocery stores and easy access to nightlife and the park. I also used to live in Fishtown, but I wasn't a fan of how densely packed it was and the parking was atrocious. But I loved my neighbors and how I could walk to anything I wanted.
I just moved to fairmont to be close to the city and the trails for running. Coming from nyc it’s def very quiet
