My agency doesn’t submit for awards, and I’m not saying I’d win if they did. But as much as we say awards don’t matter, it feels like they do at a lot of places I’d like to eventually work. How difficult is it to submit on my own? Or am I better off finding a place that does submit and is willing to hire me without awards?

Does anyone have family members who constantly demand money because they feel like you’re rich now because you’re a lawyer? I’ve always wanted to be in a position to help my family but we all live in the high COL city so my salary doesn’t carry me as far as it would elsewhere. Relevant experience is same in C#, .NET, .NET APIs and Web Services, MVC, MS SQL Server, T-SQL, etc. I have been working in Agile model (Scrum) through tools like JIRA, Confluence. I also have experience in Batch Scripting for creating small-mid scale monitoring tools as I have experience in L3 Technical Support. Have used MS Office, ServiceNow, etc for reporting.
