To be very blunt - it’s not easy unless you know somebody there. Most hires are based on connections or personal recos.
If you know the names of anybody there, email some of the employees directly. Most of their address are firstname@davidtheagency.com (aside from some nicknames)
If you don’t know anybody there, connect with anyone that works there on LinkedIn. Any department. It’s a small shop. Everyone knows each other. Establish a relationship. They aren’t going into the office, so calling might not be the best route right now. But you can try it.
Like every agency job posting, it most likely doesn’t get to the right person, so that route is a shot in the dark. If 2020 wasn’t what it is, I’d recommend showing up at the office. Its easy to grab anyone for a coffee and make a connection.
Regular tip - they love work based on untapped insights. So put any standout work that fits that profile front and center on your site.
And then there is the “hey look at me” route. One intern sent in a stuffed fish with his resume inside it. Not sure why that worked, but he got the internship. Another made custom vodka bottles and didn’t get the internship. Maybe launch a site or personal campaign specifically for trying to get a job there?
Pro tip - They’re “an agency based on firsts,” so be the first person to get their attention in some special way and your chances of getting at least a conversation will be increased.
Lastly, do great work where you are now and they’ll notice. Make em jealous of an idea and they’ll want your brain on their team.
Any agency can make the work they do if you have the client’s trust. Unless you totally hate where you’re at, the best way to get their attention is to do better work than them. Most of the crew studies that ad world all day. Every. Day. It’s almost an obsession. So you’ll get their attention quickly.
Hope this helped.

The hype is real
It’s all hype. That’s a general industry statement. And my own opinion.
