My employer is struggling to find a physical therapist to work for his large operation.

I think that he needs to put himself into the employees shoes and try to understand how to make it worth it to them. Some actions may include: paying well, following through with his words, not overworking us, and providing cutting edge opportunities.

What do you guys think? Are these reasonable requests? I am hesitant to refer my colleagues to my current job because of my employer’s ruthlessness.

I recently raised my rates after being told I wasn’t charging enough on here. Both of my main clients have already responded saying they either can’t pay me my new rate ($125/hour with 15 years experience) or are interested in “talking further.” So naturally I’m starting to freak out a little bit. I’m still pretty new to freelancing full time. What do I do/say? Do I hold my ground and hope for clients that pay me what I’m worth? Or lower my rates/standards and hope I can make ends meet! Help!

I get depressed and irritated most jobs I work for at the 3 month mark..:

I have a therapist that I see twice a month and it has helped me to some extent. I feel like I’m in a general plateau. I feel like we are going through some repetitive themes that I see and understand. I have high functioning depression and I’m going through the “and what?” Phase of it all. Is this common? How do you move on?
