Things to talk about with clients during downtime? Ya know, non-work related things to fill the air before a meeting. Usually I’m good at improvising & shooting the shit but I need some new material.

Interviewing for an account executive position at a marketing agency and they are asking for a salary range following my initial interview. I was making $62k at my last job which seemed severely underpaid, especially in Los Angeles. I would be fine with $85k but would definitely be more comfortable with around $92k. Does anyone have insight of what the best response of a salary range would be?

I don’t want to under ask but I don’t want to lose the opportunity by asking for too much.

Hello! I've been looking for an account position at design-forward agencies (e.g. Collins, Red Antler) for about a year but they are either (a) super senior and/or (b) not supported by junior account team. There's no flag more red than "we need someone who can put on many hats".

Anyone else struggle with getting work done during the day? With back to back meetings, maybe a couple of 30min breaks where you decide if to grab lunch or respond to the 30+ emails that came while you’re in meetings. I feel overwhelmed and feel like I’m unable to process and get work done with such speed as some other folks do. Any tips??
