Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Hi Fishes, I am considering a Senior Engineer role with Alteryx (previously Hyper Anna) Sydney. If it's not too much trouble, I was hoping if anyone here could share their experience of working at Alteryx Sydney in terms of Culture, work life balance, politics, work pressure, people, Leadership and product. Thanks.
I got an email from a recruiter from PayPal about a position I didn’t apply for. How do I know that? Because on workday you can see all the jobs I applied for. I applied for one position in the company but got reply for another position I am not interested in. The recruiter wants to set up a phone interview? How would you react? Because I would love working there, but not in this position,
Would you say something during the phone call or before?

Go for it. I worked there last year and it was awesome.
It was a contract, so my position had an expiration date. Good people and work though!
Depends on team. G will relocate you and comp you enough if they ask you to move.
Err, comp is 90th-ish percentile of market and really stable stock. It’s objectively enough.
There’s some remote roles but from my experience interacting with their recruiters they want you to be close to an office. I was originally contacted for a role in the Bay / NYC
When I told them I was based in LA and not interested in relocating they gave me a whole list of similar positions they were hiring for in LA and we went from there.
They keep approaching me for remote contract positions (I'm a UXR) so the remote positions do exist.
good luck 🤞

Ask the recruiter. There isn't much point in continuing interviewing with that group if you aren't willing to relocate. It is possible that they might find you something remote with a different group/team.
I’m from the Bay Area. Be aware that the rents/home prices are the highest in the US, possibly excepting Hawaii, and the commutes can be very challenging.
However, the Bay Area has fantastic weather and it’s a friendly place.
