Cheer up. Failures are all part of the success ahead of you. Everyone started without experience and it's a matter of timing. When I finished my college I was denied more than 6 times. Lol. Check on the internet regarding tips on how to improve your resume and how to ace your interviews. It will help. Good luck.
That sounds frustrating. Keep your head up, you are correct that it’s a numbers game. Even later in your career, it can come down to aspects that are out of your hands, like culture fit.
Also keep in mind that some hiring managers prefer candidates with less experience; one reason is that green hires are often hungry and eager to learn. You can spin your inexperience as a blank slate—you can learn their preferred methods and processes and won’t be starting with bad habits.
Last recommendation: arrive to the 2nd or 3rd interview over prepared to demonstrate initiative. This can be some kind of research or prepared recommendations that are related to the position, preferably on a topic you’ve heard them say is a pain point or future goal. (For example, I work in marketing, so I once brought in research I compiled on their market landscape and competitors.) It might seem like overkill, but it will set you apart from the others fast.
Hi. I suggest you get a certification or short courses. It might give you some leverage instead of actual YOE. Some companies also consider that. You can also tailor your resume and highlight your strengths and skills. You have no problem with your interviews so I think it's better to focus this time on your resume. Best of luck!
Don’t give up and keep applying. Companies will (some have to) post job openings knowing they already have an internal candidate moving into that position. BofA and Wells did this all the time
