Shameless company plug, sorry y’all. But Morgan Stanley just rolled the FRM Experienced Professionals Program. This program is designed to recruit and develop diverse professionals regardless of whether they have a background in Finance or Risk Management. If you’re interested just dm me. I made it out of kpmg and hopped over to MS and honestly so far I’m loving it. Also more black people in this space would really go a long way.

Do you hide your financial status from ur partner when you were dating? Coming frm low income class family, I have learned to save & invest every money I earned. I am not rich but I have good portfolio that I put together over my lifetime. Whenever I'm on dates I find myself not telling my date about my financial status. I just don't want them to like me because I own couple of places or I have a good bank balance. I'm worried that I might be doing something wrong by hiding this. Help pls!!!?

Any insight/advice on tax M&A opportunities at consulting firms? I’m a SA & not ready to go industry and cap my salary out yet, so I’m curious about professional service firms other than PA. Specifically concerned about whether learning opportunities are equivalent and which consulting firms have quality tax practices.
What do you do to stay productive at work while WFH? My focus and drive has disappeared for whole days and I can’t bring myself to get anything done. We’re experiencing a heat wave and poor air quality from wildfires in the state, but I’ve been losing steam at work days before this started.

Any MBB fish that went from T2 > industry > MBB? Why did you go back into consulting? I am in a pretty good role right now but besides industry circles, I have no branding. I have an on-site coming up soon, I also received some unfortunate health related news and I just have been out of my element the last week. I have a week and feel like I don't want to blow this opportunity. Would I be shooting myself in the leg if I requested the recruiter to reschedule? Is that even doable? I've made peace with my news and ready to move on with life. Please don't judge, I just would appreciate pointed recommendations on do's and don'ts. Thx!
Anyone actually keep their PHR active? I got my cert in 2013 and have done nothing since.

How much do non-MBA Senior Associates and Consultants typically make (base + bonus segmented if possible)?
I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!
I wanna save $2 mil by the time I'm 35, retire and start a non profit academy for training people to enter the workforce with better skills. Specifically related to technology. Thoughts/suggestions?

Hello folks, so I’ve been trying to DCA twice a month. Every time I do we seem to hit a large drop right after. Does anyone have a strategy to mitigate this or do you just set a day per month to do it and not look back?
