It took me a couple years because at my old job, they would rotate management out often and you could end up with a couple good managers in a row for a while.
Having a good manager (or bad manager) can really make or break your experience. All you need is someone that has your back.

Thanks for sharing. I think that’s many of our experiences. I used to go into new experiences with a more positive attitude. Now I have learned to scrutinize everything during the hiring process

Once I got weird vibes in an interview, and the hiring process was so drawn out, it made me worry about how the workload was going to be. I should've known better, but a job is a job.
