My last working day at Lloyds Bank was 9th March. HR has now reached out saying the bonus amount in my Full & Final settlement was sent by mistake since I wasn’t eligible. They’re asking me to return the amount and they shared bank details.

No one mentioned this during my exit interview, and it feels surprising that such a big company could make this kind of error. Do I really need to send this back, and is recovery of a bonus after F&F closure standard practice?

Does anyone still have the Verizon grandfathered unlimited phone plan? I’ve had it on a family plan w/my mom for years, but wondering if I should give it up since I mainly kept it to stream video while traveling without worrying about being throttled, but I’m not traveling anytime soon. If you had it and switched to a cheaper plan, do you regret switching? My mom was offered a 55+ unlimited plan open only to Florida residents, but I saw reports online that people had trouble with throttling.

I have got an offer for Manager level at a Big 4 in Consulting. People who are 3-4 years juniors at my MBA college are at Manager level and might get promoted sooner than me. Also, a couple of immediate juniors are at Senior Manager level.

Have you been in a similar situation? Is it awkard? How to handle it after joining?

PS: If you are wondering, I do not have a Big 4 or consulting experience while they have it.
