My lease at my place ends in about 6 months. My husband and I want to move states after it ends and don’t want to lock in another lease at our current place/state. My firm has an office in the city we want to move to so, ideally, I’d just transfer to that office. I’m also starting to job hunt now in case things with my current firm don’t work out. How stupid would it be to just say screw it and move at the end of the lease even if I don’t have a new job lined up? Loans are only $200/month.

Anyone experience emotional burnout on this job? I’m physically fine - not particularly overworked, getting enough sleep etc. But I get overwhelmed having to code-switch as a junior to cater to the different working styles and personalities of all my different seniors and clients. I feel emotionally drained and anxious feeling like I have so many bosses to “please.”

Over heard today about bad behavior in biglaw : if you had to explain to someone’s parents or loved ones how you treated them and you’d be unable to do so without feeling awkward or embarrassed, you are the problem.
