Chicago is 100x better than NYC. I’m based in Chicago and avoid our NYC teams like the plague….fortunately busy enough to avoid them most of the year.

Doesn’t it take less than 30 seconds to run a redline? I never understood why people think it’s difficult or refuse to do it.

I don’t think it’s as bad. Worked with both Chicago and NY partners and for sure the expectations of your time are higher with NY partners

Our Chicago office is very collaborative and while we work hard, most of us want to log off by 7. We all jokingly cringe when we have to work with people who have come up in the New York system.

Mumbai office ka shuttle chaalu hua?

Mumbai people should be paid extra. There is no way we can live close to office and also we have to commute very long distance in local if we want a okay type house in a good society. Our friends from other locations do not have this challenge so i think Deloitte should pay atleast 20% hardship allowance to Mumbai employees

There’s a practice group that I’ve been trying to find work in but whenever I volunteer to help, I always get roped in to do non billable work. In the beginning it was fine but now I’m feeling it’s never going to amount to actual work. Any tips to get more involved without all the non billables and how to approach this gently?
