My new employer requested that I submit copies of my tax transcripts from 2018-2023 as well as my high school transcripts and college transcripts. They did not accept photo copies of my diploma and degree. They wanted the transcripts.

This position is in healthcare although, even in my previous HC role, no such documentation was required. I am a single mom of two and to be completely transparent, I really need this job. I just feel very uneasy with the documentation I just sent to their HR.

Has anybody moved from HR to social work? How did you do it? Did you take a role to bridge the transition (ex. working in HR for a company that employs social workers)? I think social work would be better aligned to my personal values.

I have about 7-8 years of sales experience and have consistently out performed my OTE. I absolutely love my current role but I feel like I have out grown the company as there isn't a ton of opportunity to make more than I am currently making.

I opened up my LinkedIn to recruiters but all the offers are 60-70k base and 120-140k OTE. I am shooting for MINIMUM 80k base but ideally 100k or more.
