So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Is business casual defined in the handbook? It can vary place to place, but often includes jeans and a nicer shirt (polo for example). I would match whatever your manager is doing. That should be a safe call.
Dress however makes you comfortable (seeing you want to look professional) limited in the sense of how your manager dresses if you wanted to tone down
As others have said double check your employee handbook to see if business casual is defined. What people consider as business casual can vary wildly depending on where you are.
Personally I wear black jeans and a plain T-shirt unless I have any important meetings. If I was working in an environment where customers might attend then I may also wear something a bit more formal.
Our business casual is jeans and shirts other than T-shirts.

I think there’s a way you can play into both and stay elevated. You still want to be approachable
