My old boss contacted me about an opportunity at her current company. It’s a big FinTech company and the role would be brand new and not a backfill.

Basically her boss and her boss’s boss all approved the job requisition she submitted and now it is sitting with Finance.

How long does finance approval of a job requisition on average take and what is the process? She said she also has 3 other positions in the same status waiting for approval within her team as well (the company is doing well).

I’m currently interviewing with a few top 10 firms and a couple top 100 firms for a mostly remote experienced associate/new senior role. Looking for advice. ~1 month ago I started formally complaining to HR about some toxic partners, uncompetitive comp, and excessive work load. There has been a lot of TO in the last 12 months and I have been interviewing elsewhere. On Friday I was given a surprise compensation adjustment from $105 to $120 and it’s been complement city for the last few weeks. Chicago, 7 YoE, 5 in buyside AM and 2 in my current role at inv. consultant. Thoughts on salary level / should I stay?

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule. This is a major red flag, but I can’t help but feel that I am missing out since this role pays 50% over what I currently make. Should I let the recruiter know? What’s your take on this?

Took 2 months but today my refund was initiated by Goibibo.
