Do you need more skills? Are the extra items working toward your goals? Worth the hassle?
Answer those questions then decide if leaving or staying makes sense.
That’s a good way to approach it, I’ll evaluate and see.
It's a double-edged sword. On one hand, more responsibilities without a title change or pay bump is just taking advantage of you. On the other hand, if they DID give you a new title, it looks great on a resume, and there's long-term value in that that might make it all worthwhile. Which one is it for you? That answer determines whether you should be annoyed or grateful.
It’s not even necessarily that I’m doing more, there’s things I don’t do at all anymore and new things that keep coming in but so far it doesn’t feel like we’re being taken advantage of.
Comes down to whether I asked for and wanted it or if I was just expected to do the extra work. I warmly welcome doing the work I wanted to do, which helps me in the long term.
It wasn’t even either for me they kind of just keep throwing things at us.
Find an exit plan
Yeah it’s always good to have one anyway.
I welcome the experience personally, ut highly depends on the role
If it’s not too much I welcome it, it can be scary if they give you too much to do.
