Not yet. Most haven’t figured out their own plans for sure yet.
Nope - haven’t seen anyone mandate travel yet . Most clients have verbally agreed to not need travel till Q2 of 2022 . I don’t expect Monday through Thursday travel schedule anymore
Makes sense. Interesting though. I remember when it was Q2 2021
Ive never in my whole life at EY been mandated to work from the office, even before covid. The only times it was mandated was for certain client meetings.
E3 - so you’re saying you were “mandated” to be in an office 4 days/wk?
Just signed a few ELs and no one balked or questioned that I didn’t budget or plan for travel...in fact it’s explicit that “travel is not expected for this engagement.”
I’ve got 2 clients who are back in a limited capacity. One of them is moving to full capacity in the near future. That’ll be interesting… but so far their social distancing and mitigation measures have been highly effective. I’ve had multiple teams out there with no issues. Im pretty much full time back myself between both of them.
We’re negotiating a wave 2 that would have limited consultant travel. Wave 1 was fully remote. Manufacturing company. Plants never shut down, but heavy mitigations are in place. Corp staff has been on a hybrid model and many executives are traveling again.
Back to travel. Trying to avoid Monday-Thursdays for myself and the team. Likely reduced travel for lower level (ironically the ones most wanting to travel) and some more creative coverage onsite to meet client requests.
Client is at reduced capacity. Our day-to-day clients will be onsite and others will still be remote.
