If your spouses income can successfully float you guys then go for it.
I haven't, but I'm single, so no one is very affected by my work but me. If you can afford to do it, do it. Spend some time focusing on the home life. You don't want this to fester and wind up divorced.
I've never been in that position myself, but if the relationship was healthy and my spouse's salary could comfortably cover our cost of living, I would very seriously consider it. There is nothing wrong with taking some time to recover from burnout if you have the financial means to do so.

Nope but if you can walk away without financial stress, I would say go for it, especially if it’s taking a toll on your health
A lot depends on your personality too. If you quit…will you be more stressed looking for a job, even if not for financial reasons? Would you accept a job you may not like just to feel secure again?
