My toolset include GCP, Terraform, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Kubernetes, Bash, Python. I'm good at these and working as a devops engineer.
Have been thinking recently about a switch. Are the above skills enough or should I learn others too? Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, Nessus, jFrog.. seem to be in every JD now. Are these "Mandatory"?

2020 grad M&A/PE Associate in LCOL area thinking about moving to a ECVC/M&A boutique. I generally like the work I do and the people I work with, but I really don’t like the hours and the constant late nights and weekends. Currently on pace for 2250. Boutique I have been eyeing has billable hour requirement of 1500-1600 and comes with a 20-25% paycut. Is this a stupid idea and should I grind it out until I can move in house? Will this ruin my opportunities down the road?

I'm currently working as a SWE and am interested in learning about the PM role and the experiences of others who switched to PM from a different role.
I enjoy customer engagement and planning/timelining work in an agile manner. These make me think I'd be a good fit for the role but I have some concerns/questions:
1. What is the pay-range compared to the average SWE pay range?
2. What skills are critical for the PM role?

Been welding for my company for 13+ yrs and I think it’s time for a change. The culture has completely changed and became toxic.
