My wife was groped by the husband of a classmate at a grad school event. She raised the issue right away and the guy got kicked out of the event. It upset her enough that she cried and it ruined her evening. 3 other ladies at the event also reported unwanted touching by the same guy at the same event.

They’re thinking of pressing charges. The wife of the guy doesn’t want them to, since her husband might get kicked out of the country. Obviously not her fault for any of this.

Hi fishes! I recently graduated. I got campus placed as associate analyst consulting in Deloitte in my 5th semester. It's been an year there was no communication from the Deloitte apart from the letter of intent. Now recently I received a mail saying we'll be onboarding in phases and onboarding will be completed for 2022 batch by February 2023 . Anyone else kind of bored clerking? I liked law school and thought I liked research and writing, but so far this district court clerkship has been pretty boring—lots of state law issues that are poorly briefed. Though to be fair, most of my time has been spent on one big case that I’m 99% sure is going to settle but not until the eve of trial bc that’s plaintiff’s counsel’s m.o.; so my work resolving the insane number of SJ and Daubert motions seems like a waste of my time.

Just found out that my favorite aunt, who claimed I was her “favorite” niece, chose to leave all her valuables to her other two nieces who never visited or called her once in the last ten years. My aunt passed away suffering from cancer last year and didn’t have her own kids. I was there by her side throughout her battle. I still wish I had done more, made her life easier. I probably sound petty, but a part of me is forcing me to re-evaluate every interaction I ever had with her.

I recently quit my job. My VP was a narcissist and never really looked out for my upward progression even though he said he was my sponsor.
