pwc has offered me 80k to stay. smaller firm is spinning up a practice in my interest area - offer 90k.

have a feeling the 90k is a bait and switch; I'll be overband (associate l2) so cohort changes don't do much.

the 10k delta may be made up by promotions within my team, and pwc has the bigger firm with more opportunities

Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?

Currently an assurance senior 3 at EY (promoting to manager in Oct). Want to get insight or anyone who made transfer from one big 4 to another. Was it worth it? What’s the bump in salary? How hard was the transition for you (new terminology, tech, firm culture, etc)?
