Hence why flying them to office visits for final rounds is key
Hey hey what up. On the same call
Hahahahaha, funniest thing I have heard today. Are you sure the recruiters aren't making that up to protect themselves? Who would ever apply for a consulting job (especially at ACN) who was afraid of flying? Not sure I buy this.
Forget work, the limited perspective you have on life if you're scared to jump on a plane and travel overseas should be a disqualifier in itself...
Yeah I find this so strange too. Or the students told eachother that it's a safe bet to not burn bridges when saying no
I feel like of all firms, Accenture is pretty good at staffing people locally. So perhaps they were betting on that until they decided they didn't want to take the risk. Regardless, fear of flight is something people really need to just get over.. We live in a connected world where people fly places. And it's statistically way safer than driving the same distance anyways.
Sup ACN1 ✌️
If I'm afraid to swim you bet I'd still be in the pool if I could get a nice pot of gold at the bottom
Yeah not being able to fly anywhere sounds so restricting and really limits any sort of growth for you. I knew a kid who didn't run division 1 track because he didn't want to fly
Weaksauce
I'm not crazy about flying all the time for work, but man life would suck not being able to see the world
This is what they should really tell them coming from someone who did college recruiting: you'll be flying a lot with very interesting and impactful projects...but if not you'll be local do one hour drive commutes everyday until you do
^couldn't agree more!
Agreed with all of the above but why would you ever apply to an MC firm?
Lol is this a college recruiting call?
