What a delight to see him hoist on his own petard. Despicable human being.
Absolutely brilliant. Definitely agree.
You could tell the lawyer was ready to burst with this juicy info.

On another point: I bet my next paycheck AJ is the actual pedophile. Someone should check his browser history and personal devices.
Yeah, browser history is what I immediately wondered about.
Serious question for people good at law: would this be grounds for an appeal for Jones? It sounds like his lawyer is either incompetent or actively working against him and I thought there was something about having bad counsel

But the whole thing seems to be a circus so idk
I hope they take every last penny he has.

For all the attorneys in this bowl: whether or not Jones’ lawyer did this on purpose, they had and probably reviewed those messages and emails before right?
So his lawyer still put him on the stand knowing that Jones was going to lie through his teeth. Isn’t that like a huge no no?

Another point is that the defense never answered to the plaintiffs once they were notified of the error.
Additionally, the defense never produced this information during discovery which is a big no no and subject to penalties. Indeed the lawsuits were adjudicated in favor of the plaintiffs bc Jones and his lawyers stalled and provided zero documents for discovery when the defamation lawsuits were placed.
And as A2 mentioned, died laughing when during cross-examination he was told “yeap, we got the messages… also, you know what perjury is right?” And the ultimate boss move was “you know you can pledge the 5th right?” … I snorted after that!

I kinda agree. Wasn't his lawyer already in a soup full of trouble and ethics issues with his duty of candor to the court? I wonder if they tried to get excused but couldn't. Then they are stuck between attorney-client privilege and candor to the court, which can be irreconcilable. Just for clarification, I'm referring to attorney being stuck in the situation of knowing that client is committing perjury. Anyway, yeah, the path of least resistance backdoor to this situation would be to "accidentally" disclose...
Also feel like this information could have been produced in other ways from xref phone records and calling other witnesses under oath.
