Not all companies have the same compensation policies. At one company, you may be able to request a raise, but at another one, there are strict rules or you may find a mixture. It's important to know what you're walking into when applying.

If you know, not assume, how raises are determined, you are better equipped to move forward. Would you rather be able to negotiate a raise or accept the company compensation policy?

Recieved an offer from PwC at M, they already raised initial offer by 2k but now I'm hearing rumours salary adjustments coming into effect in July, should I go back and ask for more?

Do you guys see ppl moving from a product strategy roles to product manager roles? I’m getting dinged in interviews because I haven’t seen a product through end to end implementation, I primarily work on the early stages and then hand off. I work as a Business Development Manager at a sports club.. I’ve been given a couple of months “trial” in the 6 figure and above sales in which I don’t see going back to my other role on lower sales. This was a somewhat good move for me until I consider missing out on commission each month that was more than my salary. (£25k salary, over £2k per month commission)
