Same here man. I have always felt suffocated in corporate. It's just family responsibilities, being the eldest among siblings, financial issues otherwise I wish to resign today itself and do something else.
I always feel that I'm also suffering from depression. On mental level, I'm so unhappy wrt to what I was two years back. This isn't my place. ☹️ But survival is necessary. My risk taking capacity is becoming lesser with each passing day. Just celebratedd 25th birthday this month.

@D1 If you have any debt, try to repay it asap and don’t take any debt further. Also, try to look for a backup plan or see if you can utilise your present skills to do something other then corporate job. The sooner you plan, the higher your chances will be to come out of this hell. And don’t worry about the money part, it’ll come eventually. One of my friend was not at all interested in IT sector, after graduation he started teaching. Now he has his own coaching classes and doing great.
Keep up guys, someday you will get what you want. Don't quit on your dreams and also keep on working on yourself instead of juat job. We all have been there and will be there where we just want to quit, but keep on keeping on . Someday the time will come till the time take occasional breaks, revisit your dream job/work,try some exercise routine and meditation so when the opportunity presents to land your dream job, start up , business etc. you would be ready rather than letting the opportunity pass by!
IMO overworking is not sustainable. You will probably achieve your financial goals at the cost of your mental health and family life. Its obvious for indians to think that more money better life and it does not stop, we compare with peers we jump and we do the same in a year or two. While i am not saying you shouldnt switch but always we should look at wlb of the org we are getting into and we should not feel obligated to work beyond work hours on regular basis
Thank God! I have not joined that crap amazon even they offered higher salary and joined another good company after knowing that the wlb is not that good and there is no respect for Employee as per the feedback received from ex-amazonians
But where has he mentioned that it was due to his workload!? Am I missing something here?
I agree. I am not aware of Amazon's work culture, but it's a bit unfair to tag it bad based on this post.

Going through the same. Don’t be afraid of taking a break wherever this situation comes.
It all depends on how you are enjoying with your work. Take care of mental health and physical health. Have passion towards your dream and you won’t find any complaints. Life is easy, don’t take it hard.😊✌️

Amazon pays well to all SDE roles.
This is rare case.
Most are happy with salary and perks.
And don't forget it is one of the top product company.
I have gone through same situation. In this situation take a psychiatrist consultant advice. If it get worst then it's really difficult to manage. You constant feel like low confidance. Working from home and being with family might help you.
I joined a big MNC, don't want to name, but 1 month right after joining, i left.
All such good MNC says different and do different (khane ke aur dikhane ne daant alag hote hai). Even though I m very much qualified, i went back to my previous company even with low package than what that MNC was offering me.
Someone said well " choose right boss, not right company"
I had good support from my employer to help me to come out fr this situation.
Service based company are anyway known harassing employee. Instead, a product comnapy with good culture is good.
Ab to sala decide kar liya hai, kisike baap se darne ka nahi. ☺️
I'm also going through such situations. Bad work culture. Project and client is good but internal team is not good . Here I'm just surviving with a damaged laptop .. no one is ready to listen us . Week mental health, but I have money . That's the only thing ..
Your name says that so that I thought you are infosian.
Anyway, build your resistance and learn to say no, that will help you.
I remember my last day of College. I was in a staff room with a good teacher of thermodynamics. It was my last day i was leaving the college without any placement saying goodbye to all.
