Any many band-9 who strove through the year to keep Billability >100% still ended up in lowest tier ‘low’ , mainly for the perceived inability to contribute to Organisations Goals despite earning max for their respective cost centres ( which are Shops/Outlets mainly concerned about Billing a resource brings ) . Please note Its extremely difficult for B9 to get a Project in first place . Band 9 population is slowly being decapacitated , rendered defenseless by this newly introduced , relatively less-grained performance appraisal .

And there is no direct , formal feedback incorporation from Client . Onsite Partners , DPEs , PMs are real bosses who give feedback on very senior b9/10 resources working from offshore .This clearly proves how manager-centric an organization can get . Note : you might see many people on Glassdoor defending GBS policies , they mostly are Managers wearing a mask of Technical Designation on Glassdoor
IBM is a manager centric organization.. I came to know the drawbacks of working in a Manager Centric Organization in my second stint with IBM.. everything is in hands of managers
