Now that we're getting into Q4, I'm wondering, and I guess looking for inspiration on how you take your days off. My struggle with taking leave is that no one else can really do my work, so it never really feels like a vacation, just like a small pause before I come back to a storm of work. I'm two thirds through the PMA Core Certification, and the info is great but the tests are a joke. They need to contract with an educator that specializes in testing and assessment to come in and develop exams that actually measure if you know the material. The bad test design devalues the certification. Not to zero, but I definitely will not be proud to have earned it. It just means I had $1300 and sat through 15 hours of video lectures.

I have some questions about the PMA Product Marketing Core Certification exam. Is there a comprehensive final exam, or do you just have to pass all the module exams? What's the required percentage to pass?

Best moves after becoming PMM? I've been in the role for 4-5 years now but looking to really challenge myself - I am not sure what the next leap would be other than moving into leadership or starting my own company. Thoughts?

What should I pay a part time PMM at a Series A funded, Y Combinator-backed Fintech SaaS startup working 20 hours a week whose job it is to assist the CMO (me) with setting up and managing a product marketing function? Should I take this role?
Pros: 50k bump, company is full remote, no time tracking software, unlimited PTO, 10k in quarterly bonuses, vertical move in responsibility and title, will set me up for future roles in different companies with the title I am looking for (so strategic move)

Cons: Its a startup, the solution they offer is adjacent to my desired industry, its a very small team so I wouldn’t grow my network as much, tech stipend for new laptop (but they don’t provide a work one)

I have an offer from TikTok and Microsoft. TikTok is higher pay but worried about work life balance. Both jobs are product marketing. Help!!! Should I go for the $$$$?
