One hospital called me back quickly after my interview and part of me liked that until I realized I’ve started wondering whether quick movement means urgency for the wrong reasons. Nurses who changed hospitals, did fast hiring ever turn out to be something you wished you had questioned more?

Would you have preferred they responded back after a month? They obviously advertised the job because there was a need, I don't see anything wrong with a prompt hiring process, I actually prefer it over waiting without any feedback.

Some quick call backs are a true set up from a company. Because they are short staffed and they see that 1 person has the qualifications to do the job of 2 or 3 people. I'm in the same exact position right now. My story is below, I'm the Administrative Specialist 1 person

Are you reading far too much into this? For the sake of your own overthinking, just think of this that you were exactly the right fit for the position, and done.

My last job hired me just as quickly as you described, and the company's thinking was when they had a candidate they really liked they made the fast decision of hiring them so that way they can hook the candidate in, and not accept a job somewhere else. In the past they lost out on good candidates to another company because they took too long to decide. Don't read anything more into it.

The last company I worked for made an offer on the spot and I was so excited about it. Come to find out, it was a giant red flag. They were way understaffed and everyone was way underpaid. I got out of there as quickly as I could.

Exactly and I'm currently sitting in the same situation. Did a Job fair on Saturday for a company I wanted to get into to years. Received a call on Tuesday to set up a panel interview for Tuesday. Had the panel interview was told I would be called in a week if offered the job. They called me back the next morning to offer the job. My Lord I thought I had been Blessed. I got into this job did 2 weeks of watching videos online and when finished I was told now I needed to cross train in another office. This cross training has turned into be being in this spot for 2 months and by myself because the girl who was supposed train me went to lunch and never came back the day I got there. I HATE this position because its not what I was hired for but im doing both positions the work of what I was hired for a and this other position. I fell like im in the twilight zone everyday.

I would like to transfer my career to Healthcare Data Analytics. I’m gaining my data analytics certification by the ending of November. I’ve also worked and still currently working for great healthcare company’s. I also have lots of great healthcare data experience. My only concern is no degree. What can I say to recruiters that will WOW them or replace the fact I have no degree because that’s what most of these company’s require.

I have an interview for a LTC/Rehab Nurse Manager, Infection Preventionist position next week. My base salary is $40/hour as a charge nurse. With overtime I’ll be finishing the year about $15000 above my base pay. I have questions: first, I know I’ll be putting in at least the same number of hours I’m current working (50+/wk). How do I leverage that to avoid a pay cut. Also, any tips from people in this position?

Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. I need a job that’s flexible for the kids but pays >$44/hr. Maybe remote or hybrid? Please help w/ suggestions.

How difficult is billing for dme as I only have experience in gyn onc and lactation billing? What's a fair salary? I have 8+ yoe in rcm, no certs.
