Hi All, I have received ctc details from Tata Consultancy about 4 weeks back for SAP IBP position at C3B level, however still waiting for offer letter. Any idea how long it could take ? Also, what are the chances tbat i will get an offer letter although delayed, are there cases where offer letter is not issued for internal reasons?
Hello people. I have been working from 1 year with TCS. The work culture and wlb is decent, got a really good rating 4.7 on anniversary appraisal and multiple appreciations from client. The things is I was lowballed while joining and currently getting excellent offers in the market. Does TCS adjust compensation if I ask to match the market rate with help of one of the offers, without resigning? Tata Consultancy

Do you know role progression at OW?
I’m moderately biased but ZS > Big 4 should be a no brainer. Your life will be materially better, you’ll progress just as quickly or more, get paid more and not sacrifice exit ops at all honestly.
OW has much better prestige broadly, so if you’re not interested in life sciences and you know there’s a lot of growth then maybe consider it.
That’s generally fair unless you’re going to Chicago, Seattle or SF/San Mateo.
Plenty of work in CPG / retail, tech, industrials, agriculture, etc.
What is your goal and why do you want to switch?

I’d go for Oliver Wyman. Even if they don’t match the salary in the first year, progression is quite quick at OW if you perform well.
My goal is more strategy focused work - ironically I want experience in non-fs, where I am is heavily fs focused and I want retail, agri, manufacturing etc before I pigeon myself

YOE? Honestly doubt we'd match other offers, as it would entail bringing you on at the ASC level. Our associates have a ton of responsibility and unless you have 4+ YOE don't think that's happening
It's possible given 6yrs of total exp. More likely if you are joining a practice that's really in need of people. Doesn't hurt to try and negotiate.
