My wife recently put in her two weeks and half the people she worked with are just ignoring her messages. They asked to work longer but bc of her new company she cant. Shes moving for about 60% more pay from external audit to senior accounting. Shes extremely sad and im confused why these firms are so uptight about this. She is giving them an additional 4 days which she wanted to use on vacation. Did she do something wrong?

First time Dad and my 15 month old keeps running up the stairs at my in-laws place and they keep encouraging it. Stairs are almost 10 inches high with nothing underneath and I’m worried that he might slip and fall in between the stairs. What is the difference between PwC practice offices and Acceleration center? Is it hard to transfer from one to another?

Is it just me or are there entirely too many people in Business Services, specifically TC’s, who are just folks from client service that don’t want to deal with hours and travel anymore but have no formal training in the Business Services function they transition to? It seems to me very few TC’s are professionals in HR with any background, training or certifications in HR.
