For those of you that have an MBA, was it worth the effort and money? I'm considering going to Georgetown full-time and would really appreciate any insight from folks on the other side.

Recently got accepted into the online Executive MBA program at Quantic. Has anyone here taken that program before? Was it helpful to your career?

Does fed consulting (big4, MBB) usually have better WLB than general practice does? I have a job I love with a solid 40-45hrs/week, but somewhat underpaid, so just dreaming of other oops in the future (post-MBA).

Understood that pay is slightly lower in fed, but it would still be a whole lot more than what I make now 🙃

How do you all decide between taking the GRE or GMAT if considering possibly getting an MBA? I hear GRE is easier to prepare for, but do schools secretly prefer GMAT? (If GRE is easier why do some people still take GMATs?)

Pros/cons of TS vs. Audit?

As a newish partner in a law firm, name something you found out that shocked you only after you made partner. I’ll go first, in the 15 years between when I was a law clerk to when I became a non-equity partner, my firm’s profits per equity partner amount doubled. Associate comp went up 20k in the same time period.
