Does the word “inclusion” do more harm than good? What if the panel we simply said “Diversity & Equity”? There were substantial layoffs at firm and management has denied, saying they were performance related (mostly bullshit). They have not ruled out [further] layoffs in the future.

I don’t want to lose my job, and it would absolutely suck. But I almost feel numb and hard to even get too worked up over the prospect given how emotionally exhausting this year has been. Maybe bcz I feel somewhat safe, but I feel like if it happens, it does, and I’ll find a way to recover/move on.
