Life is full of risks
Jesus, people, come on. We cannot live our lives in fear of a virus.
A1, you could wipe everything down again when you arrive, and hopefully between two cleanings, it will be safe. Or continue working at home. I have my own space, but I am going to continue WFH most of the time until the pandemic is officially over. That could be a couple of years, but if that's the case, my husband and I are already discussing ways to revamp the house to make WFH more comfortable.

There’s probably another step added to the hoteling process. “Please confirm that you have sanitized the workstation. Failure to do so may result in financial sanctions.”

Only for sometime. And things I presume will undeniably return to a better normal. Because once things are opened up and infection rates are not in the high numbers, we would posit the effectiveness of inefficient ways of dealing with the virus.
Things would be “better normal“ but not back to the old normal.

There are articles being written on this as to whether the open floor plans are a thing of the past. It is no longer a good thing that 5 people may use the same work space in one day.
I’m expecting significant innovation in sanitation equipment. We could easily see self-sanitizing workstations that clean themselves at the touch of a button.
Meet the sanitation robots, coming soon to an office near you.

The open office format isn’t something the APAC member firms have embraced as much as the US and European firms have.
I figure we go back to cubes and suburban office complexes

They’d probably encourage you to work from home or at client. Potentially hotelling gets limited to a day booking or might not be an official policy, just behavioural change.
