People glorify going client side all the time, but no one mentions the trend of how many jobs are now through contracting companies. Even if the roles are white labelled internally - you make less money, have less stability, worse benefits and a lower standing politically than those FT employed by the company. Doesn’t sound that much better than agency life.

Curious questions! What are the things offered by companies after laying off their employees? Do they pay 3 months severance? Or not?
