You win the internet today.

Regression analysis to understand how variables affect the business and predict future outcomes!
In workforce planning, I’ve used it to predict how many positions will attrition and start recruiting ahead of time to reduce the time to hire and estimate savings due to open positions.
In pure financial market finance, to run GARCh and e-GARCh models to understand the asymmetric behavior of the markets (modeling volatility) and know how much more reactive a stock is to a negative news vs a positive news of same magnitude.

Depends on the specifics. If it’s big enough and mean enough, I’d use it to keep our friends in assurance at bay 😉

Extract, manipulate, and model financial data to create budget forecasts.

Let’s sign a letter of intent, provide the data, and a contract and I am sure we can make it happen. 😜

APIs, some automation to download/transform reports (selenium) plug in to alteryx to do anything not prebuilt for the tool, and some light algorithm work (e.g. clustering)

Everyone hit the nail on the head, and i just want to mention it can do some good ol' data visualizations!

Very fast Monte Carlo simulations.

Hi fishes,

I think I am slipping into depression. My life seems to have no meaning and all I do is work. I don't get time for myself or my family, friends and loved ones. But I can't leave my job and take a break as I need the financial support.

I also feel I am earning way less than my peers which makes me feel like a loser. 4.5 years of work-ex and 16LPA.

What should I do? I need good wlb but also need money badly.

Anyone in Corp Dev M&A? Received verbal offer today and it was a total boner killer that sounds non negotiable. Offer came thru random guy in HR vs hiring mgr/director and seriously considering going around hr cause the guy sounded lazy asf.@

Would like to understand market comp for in office CD roles, 4+yrs m&a experience and 25-40 advisories under belt. It’s an F500. Basically a pay cut of like 60-75% lol, idk if they’re testing me or serious. Edit: Happy to give any additional details.

Hi everyone, its my first time posting here but thought I'd ask for some advice on this.
am a beginner UXer with a design education background. I just got a job as UI Designer. I am super anxious. I am good at research to wireframing. But UI, never done it before... high fid, design systems etc are all so new to me. This is making me so insecure getting into the new job what if I make a fool of myself? What if I ruin projects and real client work? Should be excited but can't stop overthinking.

Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. In my case would a Roth make sense? Appreciate any answers!!
